As parents, we strive to instill strong values, confidence, and social awareness in our children. This cotillion program has been a wonderful supplement to our parenting, reinforcing the lessons we teach at home while providing invaluable experiences in leadership, etiquette, and personal growth.
Our oldest child (15), a son, not only benefited from the programโs focus on etiquette and social skills but also took on a leadership role as an ambassador, ultimately earning the title of president. This opportunity strengthened his confidence, responsibility, and ability to leadโa testament to the programโs dedication to character development.
Our second child (13), also a son, has naturally been more reserved, but cotillion has helped him come out of his shell. The program reinforced our teachings on social expectations, offering an outside voice that encouraged him to step out with greater ease and self-assurance.
Our third child (10), our oldest daughter, has a naturally engaging and outgoing personality, and cotillion has provided the perfect environment for her to thrive. She quickly became a strong leader within her age group, using her confidence and social skills to help guide and encourage younger participants. Her ability to make others feel comfortable and included is what led her to become an ambassador, where she has continued to develop leadership qualities while serving as a role model to younger students.
Our youngest (7), another daughter, has had an absolute blast participating in the mini camp, where etiquette and social skills were introduced in a fun and engaging way. The camp made learning enjoyable, showing that good manners and confidence can be built through play and interaction.
One of the most remarkable aspects of this program is how it benefits both boys and girls. Our sons and daughters alike have gained the skills to present themselves well, engage in conversations with confidence, and handle social situations with easeโsituations that many their age might find awkward or intimidating. Whether itโs introducing themselves to new people, handling formal events, or simply showing kindness and respect in everyday interactions, they now have the tools to navigate these moments with grace.
More than just learning to dance and follow etiquette rules, our children have gained essential life skillsโcommunication, eye contact, a proper handshake, and the ability to engage in meaningful conversation. They understand the importance of greeting someone with confidence and presenting themselves well in any setting. These are qualities that will serve them well in school, future careers, and social interactions for the rest of their lives.
If you are considering cotillion for your child, we wholeheartedly recommend it. Itโs an experience that builds character, reinforces family values, and provides lessons that will last a lifetime.
